How to Paint a Ceiling

Painting a ceiling seems easy: a little paint and ready, but if you’ve tried this method you may have noticed may not be as easy or as clean as it seems and may even have ruined any carpet or furniture in the process. Here you can read some tips for next time:

1. Prepare the room seems simple, but many people do not. Ideally, remove all the furniture in the room and put a plastic sheet or on the ground. If the plastic is very thin or poor quality can break to walk and move about it, leaving the carpet or floorboards exposed to an accident. Remove all ceiling fixtures and any frame or mirror that can stain.

2. Prepare the surface: You should study the surface. The ceilings are not painted as often as the walls and probably not cleaned frequently. You need a clean surface for painting or could end up flaking. Use a broom to clean any cobwebs or surface dirt and then lightly moisten the surface with a soft cloth.
