Avoiding Allergies Home

In addition to pollen, many people are allergic to dust and mold. Often, the air inside homes is dirtier than the outside. Exposure to dirty air may trigger asthma attacks or allergies, so our house could literally make us sick. Fortunately, there are several steps you can take to prevent and relieve allergies

* Carpets and rugs: Getting rid of the carpets that make the room warm and welcoming it, but they are a source of allergens. Dust mites, mold and pollen accumulate in carpet fibers and all can cause allergies. Vacuum carpets often eases symptoms, but people with severe allergies should consider withdrawing them and replace them with parquet or wooden flooring, tile, linoleum, etc.

* Limiting the number of cleaning and home textiles: carpets and rugs at home also helps. All household textiles should be washable and durable. Read the rest of this entry »
